I've been back a few days now, from a challenging week, first lobbying in Austin and then a few hectic days of public events launching our new Texas Mountain Trail brochure. Here are some photos from the events. As soon as I get the pdf of the brochure from Austin, I'll make it downloadable on the TMT website, www.texasmountaintrail.com or you can contact me and I'll be happy to mail it to you!

Triage
For the next week or two, there's far too much going on. Traveling three times this week within the region, then flying to Austin for more lobbying, then right after that, three brochure launch events in two days. If I have a clear head and any ideas, I'll try to post. But just warning you ahead of time, I might be kind of quiet for a little while.

Stories about Judy
The weekly newspapers are sharing the little they know about Judy, the burro lady, who died last week. There is a heartfelt notice in the Van Horn Advocate, but the editor hasn't put this week's issue online yet. However, there is an excellent article and photo in the Big Bend Sentinel, including a bit about an encounter between Martha Stewart and the burro.
